So....it looks like no one is reading my blog. I don't know what to do. What to do, what to do....

Should I stand on my head? What should I talk about? How about I just type a bunch of random stuff that I think people are searching for right now....

Giants
Patriots
Eli Manning
Newt Gingrich
Ron Paul
Mitt Romney

Speaking of those last three guys....I feel kind of out of it. I mean, shouldn't I know more about these guys? I mean, one of them is the guy that could potentially save this country from the disaster that is the current President. All I really know is most of my friends like Newt...they think he is the best man for the job....but I don't know anything about him. What about this Santorum guy? His ads were nice. He is anti-abortion (which is important to me) and conservative in all the right places. Ugh. I don't hate politics,  because I do realize that they are important for this country. But I do dislike the backstabbing and the message to our children that this is how it's supposed to be.

And as for the Giants / Patriots - I don't know that I'll watch the Super Bowl this year. I don't care about either of those teams. If I do watch, it will be for the commercials only.

And rest in peace Joe Paterno. You are a legend, and despite what you went through the last months of your life, you will be remembered in all the right ways -  the most winningest coach in history....the most steadfast coach / man the students at Penn State could ask for. Rest in peace, Joe Pa.

As for my own life - life is steamrolling along. Austin got all A's on his report card. He has the highest grade point average in his advanced math / science class. I'm so proud of him. Ty is on target in most areas and is reading above his grade level now. And Makenna is doing great in her letter recognition and the like. Ty will be playing T-ball this season - so excited about that! And Makenna will be doing dance classes. Austin is going to take a break until Football starts back up. I hope to get him back involved in Scouts, get his excitement and committment level back up for that. I think it will help to bridge over to Boy Scouts from Cub Scouts.

Ok, that's about it for now. I just wanted to get something in. It's been a while....mostly because I'm discouraged from the lack of comments. I thought people would read once I started writing....guess not.
